Pearls of Wisdom is an intergenerational project by Cambridge Art Salon, bringing together young and older people through art. Manning took part in a strand of the project in partnership with the charity Care Network Cambridgeshire, created to celebrate the organisation’s 30-year ‘pearl anniversary.’

Working closely with participants, Manning helped collect personal 'pearls'—memories, reflections, and pieces of wisdom they wished to pass on to future generations. These were then transformed into hand-sewn artworks, giving lasting, tactile form to shared experiences and intergenerational connection.
